You've probably heard the news; curly hair is in. It's all the rage at hair shows these days. It's on magazine covers everywhere.
Well I say it never went out. We are beautiful. We are unique. We are rock stars.
I'm not a trendy person. In fact, trends make me a little crazy. And I just so happen to be in a trendy industry...
It's sad that for years curly haired people were left feeling unkept, inadequate and out of style. So many fought their curls and natural texture with harmful formaldehyde keratin treatments and straighteners. But now "they" are saying that we are in. Screw them, we've always been in!
One of the reasons I love working with curly and wavy hair is that every head is uniquely different. I also love helping people gain confidence and an understanding of their hair and how to deal with it. It's not always easy to deal with, but it also doesn't need to be complicated. It's all in the cut and proper products. At the end of the day I feel satisfaction. I have helped people, I have boosted confidence. What a great feeling!
Curly or straight, you are beautiful, you are unique, and you are you. I say just love yourself as is. Rock what you've been given. Have fun with your hair and don't take it too seriously. And if you're having bad hair days, I'm here for you.
